I don't know much about
computers. Will I be able to use the Artdox System?
If you can surf the web, point and click, you can use the Artdox System
to create and maintain your site.
Do I need to have a domain
name?
If you want your own personal website, you need a domain name. If you
do not have one, Artdox will help you get one.
What if I already have a domain name?
The domain pointers will be redirected to your new site hosted by Artdox.
Does Artdox have to host my site?
Yes. This allows Artdox to provide new features
as they become available and troubleshoot any problems, should they
occur.
Will I be grouped with other artists under the Artdox
domain or will I have my own website?
You will have your own website.
Do I need FTP?
No. Everything is done using the browser you already use to surf the
internet.
How often can I update my site?
You may update your site as often as you wish. Anytime you have access
to a computer and the internet, you can make changes to your site.
What if Artdox adds new features after I sign up, will
I have to pay extra to get them?
As new features are added they will automatically become part of your
package. You will receive email notification that a new feature has
been added. There will be no extra charge.
Are there any hidden fees? What else do I have to pay
besides the $200 subscription?
There are no hidden fees. In addition to the $200 subscription, you
will have to pay to register your domain if you do not already have
one. Your subscription fee includes hosting and the Artdox System.
What about tech support?
Tech support is done by email. However, if your problem cannot be resolved
that way, it can be handled by phone.
Is there a limit to the number of pages I can have? Galleries?
Images?
You are only limited by the amount of memory available, which is quite
large. You may easily have hundreds of images, pages and galleries.
What if I forget my password?
Go to the Sign Up page, click on "I forgot my password". After you
identify yourself a new password will be emailed to you.
What if I need a special, custom feature not part of
the Artdox System?
Artdox will make every effort to accomodate special requests. However,
there will be a fee for these special features. Contact Artdox with your
request and receive an estimate of the cost for that special feature.
The Artdox System as it exists will satisfy the needs of almost everyone.
Will my site look like every other Artdox subscriber
site?
Artdox offers 3 different themes, each of which may be customized with
4 areas of color, a variety of fonts, different button styles and locations.
